Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Set at the base of the stunning Illawarra Escarpment, Mount Keira Demonstration School offers a nurturing and inspiring environment where every child can thrive. Our beautiful natural surroundings provide unique opportunities for outdoor learning and play, helping students develop curiosity, resilience and a love of learning.
We are proud of our strong academic foundation and well-established programs in literacy, numeracy, STEM and the creative arts. Our students also enjoy rich opportunities in sport, leadership, environmental education and wellbeing initiatives that promote confidence, responsibility and teamwork.
At Mount Keira Demonstration School, we believe every child should feel known, valued and supported to reach their full potential. We offer a safe, inclusive and vibrant community where learning is engaging, achievement is celebrated, and lifelong friendships are formed.
With a strong sense of community and close partnerships with families, we ensure that each child’s school experience is both joyful and enriching. Mount Keira Demonstration School is a place where children love to learn — and where families love to belong.
